I li The Student Council provided our students with three assemblies during the fall and winter. First there was the Disco Dancers. They were great at getting the audience involved in their show. The Kevin Mitchael Puppets were next. She gave a good performance. Then Marj Bly presented a program on mime, its types, and history of the art. Some of the assemblies are enjoyed, others are notg but everyone enjoys getting out of class. Compliments of SPURGEONS Pontiac, Illinois

Working out before, during, and after school was soon a must for the wrestlers. In order to be a good wrestling team the wrestlers stayed until 6:30 P.M. almost every night, lifted weights, and counted calories. Because they worked so hard, four wrestlers made it into the Hall of Fame. This was an outstanding individual accomplishment.
