Senior Class l'listory ln The Tall OT IQ34 TiTTy-Two sTudenTs enTered The Chenoa l'-ligh School bus. Mr. Ferree and Miss Barlh were The drivers and Lyle Rulon, JeaneTTe l:osTer, and Roger WinTor were The conducTors. Vfe made only one sTop The TirsT semesTer and ThaT was aT The TourisT Park To have a picnic. During The second hall: oT The Trip we changed conducTors and They were BeTTy ShiTleTT, Lucille Lahn and Ferne Weaver. ATTer a long Trip The bus sTopped in June To give The passengers a Three monThs' vacaTion. ln I935 The bus sTarTed again, l:nuT This Time The drivers were Miss Johnson and Mr. hlamman. The TirsT hall: OT The Trip we had George Brady, Lyell Elson, and Charles OlTman as conduclors. 'We sTopped Tor a parTy aT The Gymnasium, buT soon we were on our way. Lucille Lahn, JeaneTTe FosTer, and Adele Kaplan were The conclucTors during The second halT oT The Trip. This ride was a very pleasanT one, louT when June arrived, everyone was ready Tor a resT. ln The Tall oT I936, we sTarTed on our Third journey wiTh lvliss Johnson and Miss Orr as The drivers oT The lous. Our conducTors were BeTTy ShiTleTT, l-lerberT Reis, Lucille Lahn, and Roger WinTer. The bus sTopped in Chenoa on ComrnuniTy Fair Day and The passengers sold chances on a Tive dollar bill, which proved To be very enjoyable. Riding on a liTTle TurTher, anoTher sfop was made in order To receive The class rings and pins. The second semesTer Tound Lyle Rulon, Lyell Elson, Adele Kaplan, and lrene YaTes as conducTors, The bus sTopped in order ThaT The passengers mighT presenT a play in The New l-ligh School Gym. The TiTle was Be YourselT and proved To be a greaT success. In June The bus sTopped To give The drivers, conducTors and passengers a Three monThs' resT. ATTer a compleTe resT They sTarTed in The Tall oT l937 on The lasT parT oT Their journey. Mr. Elson and lvlrs. l-lenline were The drivers and Roger WinTer, l-lerberT Reis, Adele Kaplan and BeTTy ShiTleTT were The conducTors. They sTopped December 9 To presenT The Red Spider, which proved To be very successTul. They again sTopped on December 22 Tor a school dance. The second semesTer They chose Thomas Bear, Elwood FriTz, Imogene Schopp, and Ann Kindred as The conducTors. The Class NighT Play and The Annual were boTh greaT successes.
