Watch Out World! On a cool fall morning in the second week of Sep¬ tember, seventeen hundred students and one hundred twenty faculty members arrived at Chenango Valley for the first day of classes of the 1976-77 school year. Attitudes toward the upcoming school year varied. Some individuals entered with great enthusi¬ asm, confidence, and optimism, while others wished they were still on vacation. For almost ever¬ yone, however, the pleasant thoughts of another enjoyable summer vacation seemed far away, as the long school year had just begun. Ten short months later, however, those same students and faculty members left school with many wonderful memories and a new feeling of enthusiasm, optimism, and success. Seniors and underclassmen alike, felt themselves saying, WATCH OUT WORLD, WE ' RE COMING THROUGH, NOTHING CAN STOP US NOW. . ■ ' ‘ft - „ .... We ' ve Got the Spirit So Let ' s Hear It! The Varsity and Jr. Varsity Cheerleaders kicked off the 1976-77 school year with the annual Pep Rally. With an optimistic attitude carried over from the spring of last year when the Varsity Baseball team captured the S.T.A.C. Eastern Division Title, Warrior fans anxiously awaited the upcoming sports seasons. The Rally was the debut for Fall Sports Teams as well as the newly revived Pep Club. In its efforts during the year, the Pep Club was successful in bringing back the school spirit and pride that was the trademark of Chenango Valley several years ago. The Rally was a tremendous success as Mr. John Paske, the Varsity Football Coach, Mr. deLaurentis, assistant coach, and Mr. William Weckel, former J.V. Football Coach, gave rousing speeches that put the student body in a spirited frame of mind. four
