Dick Barvinchak gets good pass protection from blocking teammates Hammitt and Fenwick. 122 Warriors “dominated the game” in 1970, as demonstrated by the 50 points scored in the Cortland game. They were spurred forth by the big one-two punch of Dick Barvinchak and Jim Kendrick. Once again Head Coach Costello and coaches Travis and Ames performed their usual commendable jobs. Kendrick broke a STAC record by returning a kick-off 97 yards and finished among the STAC leaders in rushing. Barvinchak, Kendrick and tackle Hughes were undoubtedly destined for All-STAC mention. Commendable performances were practiced by linesmen Gunster, Hughes, Fenwick, D. Warne; ends B. Warne and Hohl; backs Edwards, Pecha, Medovich and Blakeslee.
