4,4 1957 As I was dnvrng along rn my pmk convertrble Cadrllac one lovely Sprrng Day I saw Wrnrfred Turner and her ten redheaded krds So I decrded to park my lrttle Jewel and see rf l could frnd any of my old school chums that used to go to C F C S Whrle I was lookrng around I decxded to go rn the Grand Unron and do some shopprng Whom should I see rn there but the owner of the Grand Unron Charles Atenl Frances Kocak was gnndmg the hamburg and Charles was samplrng rt Then Mary Lou Bakmaz walked rn We got talkrng and I found out that she was runrung an old mard s home for the Semor Crrcle So far Mary Ellen Casey was the only guest Phyllrs St John walked rn carryrng a bushel of apples and we found out that she was runmng a frurt farm Then we all heard a very low Flyrng plane so we all went runmng out and Bob Wrktorek waved to us Soon two very dtstxngurshed lookrng ladres rn whrte came rn Nancy Wegge and Ruth Ayres Norman Bostwrck came rn wrth a kmk rn hrs back that he got wlule he was testrng the mattresses where he works So the two grrls ftxed h1m up Ruth Ayres had an rnterest at heart All of a sudden we heard a commotron and a crash' A football lay rn the mrddle of a d1splay of apples Wayne Cook came runmng through the door he was followed by Charles Lampman who was wavrng hrs nrght suck Suddenly rt started rarnrng very hard so I decrded to clrmb rnto my lrttle Jewel took off and was burred rn a foot of mud So Fred Gaylord and Drck Washburn came along rn therr manure boots and pulled me out wrth therr Farmall Tractor Whrle they were gettrng my car out I went rnto the Old Homestead so I wouldn t get wet Davrd Card was tendrng bar and I saw some of our old teachers fNo names mentron ed Q Sharon Champron was the stnger and Barbara Featherbay was her accomparust Whrle I was srttrng at the bar Brenton Ingraham who was a Manne told me that he was under Steve Knapp He also told me some more news' Deane Wrllrams was the drrver of a hot rod called PURPLE BULLET I was rrdrng by our Alma Mater and decrded to stop Noel Moore was the school nurse and Pat St John was the dental hygrenrst Doug Burr was takmg the place of dear old Mr Adams rn Problems of Amerrcan Democracy I walked tn our old homeroom and Mr Levrtt was strll there He was just the same maybe a lrttle older and THINNER and to top rt off he was a grandfather He told me that Margaret Kropac was teachrng rn New York Crty Karl Adams was a bus drrver Carol Eggle ston was a cook rn a restaurant m Dryden fpracttcmg for the futurej Josephrne Gurffre was teachrng Englrsh and domg a very good Job of rt and Loretta Day was a model for Drazen s rn Blnghamton Just then someone yelled Here rs Karleen Hunsrnger Karleen mvrted us to an Italran weddrng that was gorng to take place the followmg Saturday Drck Jenks w11l perform the ceremony Tempus fugrt and my enjoyable afternoon came to an end r . . . . . ,,. ,, . .
