PROPHECY Mlnhle, you ll never guess who I saw today N M1 key I have no 1dea You remember the class of '53 at Chenango Forks Central School, well I saw all of my old cl mates down on the street today As I was crossmg the street at Chenango and Court, I saw George Doxey as he was com1ng out of the bank at whlch he IS now presldent He sa1d that he had three charm1ng t I Jo ce Dav1s and Cynth1a De Vle1ger rushlng to lunch and they sa1d that daughters As I wen on saw y they were now pr1vate secretar1es at the Secur1ty Mutual L1fe Insurance off1ce As I strolled on I saw Jerry Cole and h1s w1fe the former Ga1l Youngs and the1r l1ttle red headed Jerry, Jr Jerry sa1d that he was home on furlough and he was now a captaxn 1n the U S A1r Force and Ga1l was st1ll l1v1ng home w1th her parents Then much to my surpr1se there was some work bemg done on the Court House I thought I would stroll over to see what was gomg on I saw Ke1th Hyde Gordon Thompson, and D1ck Sharpe 1n the1r overalls They told me that they had done odd Jobs at constructlon and Gordon was a part tlme farmer All of a sudden, I thought about looklng for a 1ob I went to the New York State Unemployment OfflC9 and I saw Joe Patak at th e head desk He 1S now marr1ed and has a famlly of boys When I turned make more money as pr1vate secretar1es Then, much to my surpr1se, I saw Jan1ce Hulbert and her two g1rls and a boy She told me that she had marr1ed Bob Baker and had a very n1ce home and famlly She told me about her old g1rl fr1ends Then she went on to tell me that Norma Bruce marr1ed Charles Whlt beck and now IIVGS 1n Kentucky Dolores Card now l1ves 1n Flor1da 1n a tra1ler She marr1ed Bob G1fford and has no ch1ldren at the present bh1rley Card marr1ed M11 B1dnarczyk and IIVGS 1n Corn1ng Jan1ce Sald that she saw Martha Heath just the other day and she and LOIS Heath were l1v1ng home work1ng on the farm Leo Wlser marr1ed Joyce and he st1ll l1ves at Chenango Forks She had to meet her husband she left and I started stro1l1ng down the street agaln I thought I would drop 1n at Central Hxgh School where Mary Agnes Qumn was now phys1 l educatlon teacher Mary looked good and she was ready to talk over old tlmes She sa1d that Jean Harshaw had graduated from Cornell and she now manages a large dalry farm Ann Clements and Mary Lomnse Glfford are now reg1stered nurses at the Cxty Hosp1tal As I came out of the school I saw Engla Stephens and Conn1e Bennett They were both marr1ed and worked as pr1vate secretar1es They sa1d that they had seen Ke1th Huston and Dxck Weston and that they were out of college and were plann1ng to go 1n the servlce Rosa Dudley and Reva Outman are 1n town and they are now work1ng as secretar1es Rosa IS marr1ed to Austm and they have a small farm just outslde of town Joe Kropac IS the presldent and owner of a photography shop on Court Street Joyce Jeffrey marr1ed Don and she has ch1ldren of her own to take care of now 4273 C I ' ' !
