What is a Beer of one of the American History classes. The class hesitates. From the expressions on their faces they may be thinking that since they are American citizens it won't be ditticult to this question. nations Social Studies educates you to be at peace with the world, to think things out, to serve your country well, making our coun- try better able to serve us well also. To serve our country better we must make our- selves better citizens through study. A poor citizen never serves his country except by force, but in a democratic country like ours, we have to serve it from inside of us. You also have to learn to respect your country's laws, neighbors, and everything around you.
