Crazy Eights Crazy Eights” uniquely describes our class at Chelsea High. We ' re the class of ' 88, and we ' ve had some crazy things happen to us in the past four years, As sophomores we came close to stealing the Almost Anything Goes” competition from that year ' s senior class - an unheard of coup! We are the smallest class in the history of CHS, yet the class with the greatest expectations - we ' re the first class to need 100 credits to graduate! We ' re also the class that struggled to get ad¬ visors- for the yearbook, student coun¬ cil, Honor Society, but we Crazy Eighters” were just crazy enough to tackle some tough jobs on our own, We certainly proved that even with the cards stacked against us, we could play a winning hand! 5

Chelsea Pride is found in the beat of the city, the feeling that can be experienced only by living in Chelsea. Chelsea Pride has taught the Class of ' 88 values that v e ' ve taken into the class¬ room, onto the playing fields, into our homes and into our hearts. It has taught us that winning isn ' t as important as playing a fair game, and that top grades aren ' t as im¬ portant as doing your best, Chel¬ sea Pride has been our growing experience, but it doesn ' t end at graduation. When the cards are stacked high against us, Chelsea Pride helps us find that ace up our sleeves. Chelsea Pride will follow us into our future. 6
