ACTIVITIES Although Chelsea High School’s main pur¬ pose is to formally educate its students, its also places a strong emphasis on involving them in school clubs and activities. These social outlets provide the students with op¬ portunities to interact outside of a classroom setting. All of us can sit at a desk and study, but those that participate socially truly learn that there is some to school than just books!

A FUN-FILLED MONSTER MASH October 31, 1986, was a day in which the class of 1987 truly felt unique and special. The participation of all of the seniors was AWESOME!!!!! Witches, bumble bees, and monsters could be seen traveling throughout the corridors of C.H.S. all day long. At the end of the day, the seniors attended an ice cream catered party in the cafeteria, and “secret boos” were later passed out to the entire student body. Special prizes were given out to Lydia Acevedo, (upside-down man), and Melissa Seroka, (Oscar the Grouch), for their VERY original costumes. Second Prize - Melissa Seroka First Prize - Lydia Acevedo Buzz off Blondie!! 30
