John F. Ridge Superintendent As Superintendent of Schools, Mr. Ridge has done outstanding work, dis¬ playing leadership qualities that do not bend under pressure. Even though he is in a position of authority which requires much of his time, he is always available to discuss problems with both the stu¬ dents and the faculty. Chelsea is fortun¬ ate in having such a capable and dedicat¬ ed educator as its superintendent. Administrative assistant, Mrs. Mary E. Sullivan, has proven herself a valuable member of the superintendent ' s team. Her knowledge in the areas of finances, personnel, and school services has helped everyone associated with the school system. 5
