'ful 4- xuuf' The cheerleaders for Chelan this year were Cherie Bowers, Janice Cozart, and Kathleen l-lolttum, This threesome held many pep assem- blies and introduced many new yells and ideas. Their other activities included a trip to Wenatchee to the first Cheerleader's Pep Rally. Footballseason found them outfitted in color- these outfits, 'Ldgh This year, Carolyn Eichhorn, Donise Kibby, and Roberta Little served as majorettes. They provided entertainment at the football and basket- ball games. During the Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival and the Manson Apple Blossom Festival, the major- ettes led the band. At the football and basketball games, the majorettes wore red sweaters and red and white satin skirts. They wore satin uniforms in the parades. ful red and green plaid toreador pedal pushers and matching red boat neck blouses.For basket- ball, they chose green felt jumpers lined with red faille material, With this,they wore white jersey blouses. In the spring, they marched with the band in both the Wenatchee and Manson Apple Blossom Festivals. The Drill Team had concessions at two basketball games and had a sock hop after the Wenatchee -Chelan game. This year was the first year that the Chelan High School has had a Ski Club and a Ski Team. There were two ski meets during the year, The first one was with Entiat. Chelan won this meet. In the second meet, with Wenatchee, Chelan placed second. Wenatchee won first and third place.
