RICHARDS and B. LIPPENCOTT This year, the Chelan Goats won four games, lost four and tied one. The first home game, with Ton- asket, ended in a tie. In the second home game, Chelan defeated Quincy. In the Homecoming Game, Chelan was defeated by Moses Lake. During the season, Chelan lost to Okanogan, Colville and and Omak, two other games. Chelan defeated Leavenworth, Manson, and Cashmere in other games The final game, with Cashmere, ended in a victory for Chelan. This allows Chelan to retain the Shoe Trophy another year. Bob Watson was public speaker for the chapter. He won fifth place in the sub-state contest at Ritzville wit his speech This Insect World in Which We Live. At the 25th Anniversary Banquet, Jerry Crill, Steve Hortin, Jim McClellan, Danny Payne, Paul Swanson, Willbur Swanson, and Bob Watson received awards.
