Nine league wins clinched the county championship for the Goats. At the district tournament the Goats won a state toumament berth the hard way. After defeating Grand Coulee in the first game the team lost a contest to Winthrop. Chelan then won third place in the tournament by de- feating Twisp and Pateros.
