Under the able leadership of Jeanne Sanderson they were soon in the swing of classes and activities Gary Bunt led the class during the Sophomore year. Gradually they became active in school activities. Before the Thanksgiving Day game they sponsored the traditional pep rally and bonfire. The final activity of that year was the Sophomore Hop, c'Springtime. The responsibilities of upper classmen were assumed by the class in their Junior year. With Gary Petrie as president, members of the class participated in school activitiesgealizing that they would soon be the school leaders. A highly successful talent show was sponsored by the class and in the spring the Junior Prom, Rhapsody in Blue, was enjoyed by many. Gary Petrie, Junior class president, was chosen a second time to lead the class during their Senior year. The class sponsored many activitiesyamong them were the Fall Formal, Penthouse Sere- nade,', and a senior talent assembly. The senior play provided funds for the annual senior picnic. Baccalaureate, which left a deep impression on everyone, preceded the most memorable occasion of all, Commencement.
