Back row: Don Murphy, Alice lnderbitzen, Lyle Spears. er S, -.4 After making their debut into C.H.S at the Initiation Dance, this year's Sophomore Class made themselves known around school. The Sophomore Class has the most members in the Honor So- ciety, more Sophomores turned out for football than any other class, and the class was the first to have dancing lessons this year. Many Sophomores have also been active in CHSOTA, Chehalin, Crimson and Cray, and other school activities. The class this year was under the able leadership of President Mike Stedham and Vice-president .lo Ponder. Donna Davenport was secretary and Tom Oxwang, ser- geant-at-arms. The Sophomores finished their first year at C.H.S by giving the Sophomore Hop in honor of the Seniors. X t 5 X This year the juniors actively participated in many school activi- ties. Their most important social event, the annual .lunior PYOIII. satisfied everyone. They Sp0Il- sored a dance following the Elma game as well as a school-wide talent show which was as much fun to see as it was to sponsor. The class also voted on, and bought rings and pins. In extra curricular activities the jur1i0l'S were particularly active in CHSOTA and Crimson and Gray, which was edited by a junior. Class officers this year wereg President, Fred Christeng Vice President, Don Murphyg Secre- tary, Claudia Rongeyg treasurer, Alice lnderbitzeng and Sergeant- at-Arms, Lyle Spears.
