These form the Board of Control of the Student Council which is the governing body of the school, The elections are held early in the spring so that the newly elected officers can assume their duties at the beginning of the following year. Carol Mullan, the first girl president in over fifteen years, has set an example that will be hard to excell. Second in command was Ken Schwartz as vice-president, former publicity manager. Following in the footsteps of her older sisters, Beverly Cagley served as ASB secretary. The responsible job of treasurer was handled by Esther Bieker. She had charge of all student body funds. As publicity manager, Joanne Nesbit publicized school activities and sport contests. Pat Emerson and Baldy Oliphant, Song Queen spirit, never dampened by the weather, boosted the Tom Ditz kept order in Student Body meetings l.lil5'l' TO RIGHT: Ncwigud Dity, lsbcrg, Caglcy.
