We ded1cate th1s annual to those graduatlng members of '44 who are now serving in actlve duty with the armed forces Ten boys of this year's class were unable to finish their school year because they were needed to meet the war time demands of our nation and to become a part of the n1ne million men comprlslng a powerful war machine In January, of 1944, six boys entered their basic trainlng at Camp Farra gut, Idaho Roy Hamllton, Hayes Johnson, Don Krause, Red Schlndler, J1m Walters, and Pat Denham traded a semester of school wlth Uncle Sam for a sailor sult At that same time, Len Hagan left us for V 5 tralning in South Carollna Several weeks later, Bob Rose, Clint Noyes and Ted Benny received their call from the army a1r corps to report to Amarlllo Texas for tra1n1ng These boys have graduated, they answered a stronger call, they S8CFlf1C6d thelr school graduatlon 8XC6PC1S6S, the senlor p1cn1c, the prom all the tnlngs tney'd antlcipated through years of school We honor these boys in our yearbook, and hope that wlth the famlliar scenes and faces protrayed, they in years to come, will be remembered and th81P p8tP1Ot1Sm be lndellble 1n our mlnds MIL . .
