And yet, though one should not use hard and fast rules when measuring as fluid a thing as time, one must at least be arbitary about the years when making an Annual. With the realization that this Chehalin is not so much a complete summary as an introduction into school life, it is hoped that the book will move the reader closer to the spirit of the Student Body. The purpose of an Annual must always be to rouse and stimulate an interest rather than to satisy a curiosity. Such, at least is the hope and aim of one editor.
