NINTH GRADE CHEERLEADERS FIRST ROW: D. Konstanti, L. De George, J. Le- walski, B. Klein. SECOND ROW: B. Wallens, A. Friedenberg. THIRD ROW: B. Miller. The lettermen's Club was organized in 1960 for the purpose of promoting athletics at Cheektowaga Central. It is made up of boys who have, through hard endeavor, managed to major in a varsity sport. The advisor, Mr. Frazer, has contributed much to the success of the club with his willingness and ability to work, and to cope with young men. He is responsible for many of the club's fund raising drives, which have added to their success. To raise funds, the club sponsors a sports night several times each year. Then, at the end of the year, a banquet is held to present varsity letters to those members who have achieved the high stand- ards of the club, by their persistence and the perfor- mance that results form it. The success of the club, resulting from the efforts of its members, is the symbol of this organizations purpose. By its achievement, it has also repre- sented man and his success. FIRST ROW: D.
