Mr. Granditz, attended and grad- uated from Pine Hill School. After graduating from Buffalo State in 1955 where he continued his studies in art 'md English he taught at Voormsville New York. In 1957 Mr. Curanditz served a two year stint in the U.S. Army. After his discharge in If ' DEDICATION 1959 he taught at Cortland Junior High School. In 1960. Mr. Granditz took over as head of the art depart- ment at Cheektowaga Central. He was later granted his m1ster's degree in both English and art. Since hi coming ' 1960, Mr. Granditz has participated in a number of activities. He has taught adult edu- cation in the Held of 'art for a number of years, and also aids in the beauti- hcation of the school by rranging .X displays in the display cases. Mr. Granditz spends a great deal of his time working on scenery for the school dramatic productions. but his most time-consuming job is that of art-advisor to the Centorial. Therefore, in recognition of his many contributions to faculty and stu- dents of Cheektowaga Central, the yearbook staff takes great pride in dedicating the 1910 edition of the Centorial to Mr. Joseph Granditz.
