JUNIOR CLASSICAL LEAGUE N 23333. L. Gillig. L. Bavers, R. Czerniak-Consul. J. Maloney. The Cheektowaga Central Latin Club is a moving organization. The members of the club are constantly on the go attending such functions as the stage and national Junior Classical League conventions, the an- nual Roman Banquet, Christmas party and film festi- val, along with several field trips to take part in the Latin Club activities of other local schools. Mr. Becker and seven members of the club attended this yearls national convention held at Tulane Univer- sity in New Orleans, along with delegates from forty other states. The five day convention revolved around various scholastic and athletic competitions. The up-coming state J.C.L. convention is to be held at Binghamton University. It will differ from past con- ventions in that it will last for two days instead of the usual one. During these two days election for state officers will be held, skits will be presented, olympic games and several scholastic contests will take place.
