On being inducted into the Senior National Honor Society, the new member accepts certain responsibilities and privileges. Scholarship, leadership, character, and service form the basis of responsibility. Throughout the year, members are asked to aid in projects of value to our school in accordance with these ideals. Tutoring, serving as guides, typing for teachers, and operating the Paperback Bookstore are some of the tasks which this organization undertakes. Balancing this responsibility of membership, however, are special privileges extended to mem- bers. Under the capable guidance of Mrs. Mernan and Mrs. Ham- mond, the Senior National Honor Society has had a very pro- ductive year. SENIOR NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY FIRST ROW: D. Denz, E. Zerkowski, N.
