CROSS COUNTRY This year our cross country team had its best season since our school came into being. There were a few times when only one point separated the winning and losing teams. Our squad broke the school record and the freshman record for two and a quarter miles of running. The team was composed mainly of freshmen with a few seniors. These seniors did their iob well while the freshmen developed themselves quickly. If the looys keep up their hard work, the future of our cross country team looks very bright. As a whole, the team maintained a high competitive spirit which helped it to achieve success. MR. HANLON - CROSS COUNTRY FIRST ROW, Left to Right: W. Hall, D. Budzinski, D. Witucki, H. Wagner, R. VARSITY BASKETBALL MR. MOYCE-Coach MANAGERS-T. Florkowski, T. Hoelscher TEAM-Lett to Right: B. Braid, T. Marlinski, E. Petre, K. Schenk, M. Delle Donne, M. Dryden, J. Springer, F. Rickard,J. Heitz. This year our Varsity Basketball Team had its share of problems. Although the tallest team we have had in many years, we unfortunately lacked the talent which makes a team consistently victorious. The boys tried their best and never quit no matter what the situation was like. They played a number of close games where they lost by only a single point. l06
