FUTURE NURSES CLUB The purpose of the Future Nurses Club is to bring together in high school young people interested in nursingland health, in order to explore opportunities and requirements in their fields. The past year has been a very successful one as we accomp- lished many things. We gained nursing experience helping in the clinic, during Study' Hall periods and also assisted with the immunization program. Service projects during the year included: l. Sending good will cards to our students who were ill in the hospital. 2. Doing volunteer work in the area hospitals. 3. Making tray favors for the children's ward. 4. Being responsible for the bulletin board in the clinic. An exciting field trip to Meyer Memorial Hospital was made on December A and a Xmas party was enjoyed by all. The Future Nurses Club sponsored the Lynnette School of Dancing on June l2 here at Cheektowaga Central. Two fifty dollar scholarships are given each year to any senior entering a school of nursing with the money that is raised during the year. OUR MOTTO: Find your future through the Future Nurses Club.
