VAR ITY BA KETBALL TEAM LEFT TO RIGHT: M. Rebo, N. Croce, R. Bihr, Captaing F. Rickard, K. Schenk, D. Lloyd, J. Springer, B. Nikiel, J. Fogelsonger, J. Wag ner, B. Braid, COACH-Mr. D. Moyce. Because of the many injuries suffered by key team members, the Varsity Basketball squad did not experience a season of unanimous victory it usually enjoys. The 58 to 47 defeat of Maryvale was the high- light of the season. This was the first time our Warriors had beaten the Flyers in thirteen games. Since Juniors played an important role in this year's games, Mr. Moyce hopes that the return of these experienced, vital, team members will produce a winning team for the 66 season.

The Cheektowaga Central Warriors exper- ienced their most unsuccessful football season with eight defeats and no victories. The team was ham- pered by its small size and many injuries in the early part of the season. Because of the small size, coach Rearic moved the offensive line closer together to provide for better blocking. However, this did not prove to be effective and the team went through half the sea- son without scoring. The first score finally was 13 points against our rival J. F. Kennedy. Although the team had a strong defensive line, the secondary was very Weak. The coaching staff is very hopeful for next year, because of the promising Junior Varsity team. This year they finished with four wins, three losses and one tie. AR ITY FOOTBALL w 1 1 FIRST ROW: G. Hill, MGR., R. Opperman, ASST. COACH: J. Rearic, HEAD COACH, J. Kladke, MGR. SECOND ROW: M.
