During his years of teaching here, Mr. Luther served the school as Music Teacher, band director, and the community as personnel manager for the Cheektowaga Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Luther was best known for his love of music and he in- spired others in this love. The students and faculty of our school will remember him with affection and gratitude.

DI TRICT PRI CIP L Dr. Earl J. Boggan, District Principal A student who is in school today can look forward to living in a world which will differ greatly from that which we presently know. During the lifetime of today's stu- dent, the world's population will double. Many job titles as we know them today will be replaced by occupations that we have no knowledge of at present. More of the world's goods will be produced in less time leading to greater amounts of free time for the world's population. The cure to most of the world's illnesses will have been dis- covered although new illnesses, as yet unknown, will have taken their place. People will live longer in better physical health and security. The world's people will have become more unified in an effort to avert a catastrophic war. These are but a few changes that can be anticipated. For today's high school graduate, the future promises a more exciting, stimulating and potentially hazardous life, a life that will require constant adjustment in thinking, planning and mode of living. The ability to cope with the changes which will occur and to benefit most from them will depend upon each individual's willingness to continue to educate himself to the fullest potential all through life.

DEDICATIO This year, for her unselfish contributions to Cheektowaga Central, the 1965 Centorial is dedicated to Miss Sopata. As a World History teacher and advisor to the yearbook, Miss Sopata has given much of her time and effort to serving the students and the school. Miss Sopata attended high school at Nardin Academy. She came to Pine Hill in September 1954 directly after receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree from D'Youville College. Miss Sopata became advisor for the yearbook shortly after she came to Pine Hill. From then on the yearbook became a financial success and under her guidance received many awards. Therefore it is with deep gratitude that we dedicate the 1965 Centorial to her.
