LEFT TO RIGHT: Pat Becker, exchange student to South America, and Gloria Rojas, exchange student from Colombia. Miss Gloria Ines Rojas International Fellowship Program This year Cheektowaga Central has had the pleasure of being visited by Gloria Ines Rojas of Bucaramanga, Colombia. Gloria, I7 years old, came to Cheektowaga in November under the International Fellowship Program. She is spending a delightful three months with the Becker family. Gloria, one of twelve children, graduated from Colegio de la Santisima, Trinidad, two weeks before she arrived here. At Cheektowaga Central she is following a college entrance course. Upon her return to Colombia, Gloria will enter the University to pursue the study of architecture. Dancing and participating in sports are Gloria's favorite pastimes. While here she has become very fond of tobogganing and ice skating. When Gloria leaves we will all miss her friendly smile and warm Buenos Dias.

Yaeger, V. The purpose of this organization is to create, maintain, and extend, throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character, can be heard every other Tuesday at the close of the Alpha Kappa Delta Girls' Hi-Y meetings. To live up to the standards of the Hi-Y, which is affiliated with the Y.M.C.A., the girls not only perform services to the school and community but also have many hours of enjoyment and pleasure. The Hi-Y has made Christmas stockings for the children at Meyer Memorial Hospital, has sponsored a dance, has donated a Thanksgiving food basket to a family in need, and has sold candy. Through the efforts of Miss Lemonis and Mrs. Peard, the advisors of the girls, the Hi-Y has had another profitable and satisfying year. 89
