Junior Student Council This year was one of the best for the Junior Student Council. ln November the Annual Instal- lation Banquet took place. The officers and the members were installed: Helen Nikiel, Presidentg Betty Budzich, Vice-Presidentg Donna Denz, Sec- retary: and Timothy Hoelscher, Treasurer. Our money making activity was the maqa- zine campaign. With some of the proceeds a for- eign exchange student proqram was sponsored and a bus for Junior High Students was paid for to some of the away basketball games. This year we initiated two new services. Every morning two of our members collected the buff cards from the homeroom teachers. Also, the Junior Student Council and the Senior Student Council set up a monitoring system in the halls. Appropriate dress for school was again stressed, culminating with Red and White Day. The Christmas Dance was a festive occa- sion. And, the teachers were entertained at a Christmas Punch Party. ln the spring there was a Splash Party at which everyone had a hilarious time. All in all the Junior Student Council had a successful and rewarding year under the capable leadership of their officers and Miss M. Roan. 5...

Q Members of the Centorial staff attended the l Western New York lnterscholastic Press Associa- tion meeting held this year at Amherst Central School.
