LEM SUMMERS On July 1, 1928, the Checotah Board of Education employed Mr. Iem Sxmmers as custodian for Checotah City Schools. At this time there was one custodian for the two buildings. It is interesting to note that Mr. Sammers has opened the doors, regulated the heat, answered numerous questions, and greeted all entrants pleasantly for approximately 4550 days.
