Home Room Presldents were Prlncess Faye Allen and JUDIOT Swadley We d1St1HgU1SD8d ourselves early by sendlng two members to the head of the h1gh school ronor roll, and by extra currlcular 8CtlV1t1GS One of our members won flrst 1n General Sclence ID the Northeastern D1str1ct Meet for sur roundlng schools As Sophomores we were sponsored by Mr J nrnest Cannon and Mr T J Wllllams Home Room Presldents were Prlncess Faye Allen and Frank Lerblance As Sophomores we contrlbuted three members of the All School Play, and also a member of the JUH1OT Play cast A sophomore, JOhDHl6 Mar1e Jones, was elected Band Queen We were represented 1D every school or ganlzatlon, lncludlng Band, Glee Club, Deb te, F F A Stud ent Councll, and other clubs be were agaln hlgh 1n both boy won flrst 1D the D1StF1Ct and second 1n the State Dub11C Speaklng contests The conference w1nn1ng debate team was composed of a sophomore and a senlor lt was, however, as JUH1OTS 1D l957 38 that we came ln to our own as a truly outstandlng class Our sponsors were Mrs Blanche Coughran and Mmss Joscphlne Rom ne Home Room Presldents were Pr1ncess Faye Allen and James Whlte We be gan our Junlor year by nlnnlng four of S1X offlces ln the F F A three OfIlC9S of the F h A and some of the Off1C es 1n the Student Councll, Glee Club, and Pep Squad Thls lncldentally, sums up every organlzatlon ln school havlng offlcers The h1gh school debate team, composed of a JUD1OP and a senlor, won the conference and dlStT1Ct champlonshlps and advanced to the S6mlf1H3lS lH the state tournament W gave a very successful Jurlor Play and also took part 1D the All-School Play, supplylng a major part of the cast IP the latter In lnter scholastlc contests we partlclpated 1H de bate, F F A , and curr1cular events In the curr1cular By - . , 3 .
