We, the Senior Class of 1959, have endeavored to prepare for your pleasure and enjoyment the fourteenth edition of the CHECKITE. It reflects the pleasant memo- ries of work and play. As time passes some memories will grow dim, but here is a tangible record of the 1958-1959 school year. The CHECKITE is a visible symbol of the hopes, aspirations, joys and ambitions built up and experienced by you during your years in high school. We hope this book will serve for many years to arouse pleasant memories of your life at Check. We look back, as eighth grade students, and recall how far away we thought our graduation from high school would be. But we have climbed step by step up the stairs of high school until now we have reached that plateau where we will be choosing higher steps of education, or entering the world of work.
