MIKE JARREAU This school is great! I've taught for 10 years. I instruct Health and Physical Education classes. Before coming to CCHS I taught at Ashland City Elementary. I am a graduate of Austin Peay with a 8.S. My wife, son, and I live in the East Cheatham Community. I enjoy hunting, fishing, gardening, and I am a yard beautifier. I teach because it's never boring and something different happens every day. At A.P.S.U. I became qualified to instruct my girls' physical education classes, and I also coach the varsity boys' basketball team. Collecting pocket knives is another interest of mine, but not as much so as playing with my two small sons Brian Douglas and Ryan Patrick. Our family lives in Pinewood Subdivision between Ashland City and Pleasant View JERE D. JORDAN After graduating from Cumberland Jr. College, I attended Austin Peay where I received my B.S. degree. Then I coached at West Cheatham Elem. before coming to CCHS. I instruct Health and Physical Education classes and I've taught for 3 years. My wife 28 and I live on Lowe Street in Ashland City. I teach school in order to coach; basketball is my favorite activity. JO BRASHEARS I enjoy bridge, watching and participating in sports, reading, talking, and family activities. I enjoy meeting students and teachers individually. Basically, I enjoy peo- ple. I feel I learn more every year than the students because they're all different and I'm around them so much. I enjoy watching them have a good time. I teach Health and Physical Education and I attended MT.S.U. Ray and I have one daughter, Marta, and we live in Cheatham County. This is the fifth year I've taught. Before teaching here I coached and taught at West Cheatham.

DENNIS BARNES I have been the band and chorus director here for five years. Surprisingly, my major at M.T.S.U. was in music. My residence is on the banks fo the Cumberland River, and I have hobbies in photography and fishing. This student body has great potential that has not been fully realized, and teaching is an enjoyable experience involving helping enthusiastic young students. Some of these students fondly call me John.” This is my second year teaching in the resource room at CCHS. I attended Blue Mountain College and received a master's in education from Memphis State University. My home is on Stratton Blvd. in Ashland City. I don't ride horseback because I'm afraid of horses. I don't swim because I float sideways and I play one game of tennis every five years. DORA JANE DILWORTH TERRY WALLACE My wife Pat and I live in the Town Terrace Apts, in Ashland City. We have a dog named Fritzy. I enjoy sports, especially baseball. This is my first year here; I teach Resources. I taught in Ohio the past four years. A.P.S.U., Bluffton College, and Miami University are the schools I attended. I teach because I'm interested in kids and want to help them as much as I can because I know it's hard. PROJECTS 27

FRANCES FULTS Two of my hobbies are sewing and craft work. These relate to my line of work, teaching Vocational Home Economics. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and received a B.S. My home is in Ashland City and I have a pet wire- haired terrier named Bama. Art and watching sports are of interest to me, too. Also I sponsor the FHA. I like teaching because I like the kids. REBECCA MORSE I teach Home Economics because it is a subject area I've always enjoyed, and I feel that it is so much help to girls. At M.T.S.U. I received my degree qualifying me to teach which I have done at CCHS for several years. My husband Huffman and I live in Ashland City where we reared our two daughters, Kaye and Jamie, who are now grown. Bridge is the activity at which I am most avid apart from my work. HOME ECONOMICS Child Development, Family Relations, and Home Economics I are the subjects I teach. This is my second year at CCHS. David Lipscomb College is where I received my B.S. degree. My husband and I live in Charlotte, Tenn. My many hobbies include sewing, hiking, biking, fishing and reading. I enjoy work- ing with students and being able to help them and watch them learn. This school year has been satisfying. NANCEE GLASGOW 29
