JUDITH SPRADLIN I enjoy history and that is why I teach American History. My B.S. and M.A. degrees were obtained at Aus- tin Peay. My husband and I live in Clarks- ville. I enjoy creative art work and I like people. My cat is Mor- timer and my dog is Mickey Rat. Of all the schools that I've been in, I like C.C.H.S. the best; the students are just great! ALVIN ROSE I live in Cheap Hill with my wife Jeannie and baby James and am the minister at the Cheap Hill Church of Christ. American and World History are the subjects I teach. My B.A. was earned at David Lipscomb College, my M.A.T. at Vanderbilt, and my M.A.Ed. at A.P.S.U. I've also done graduate work at the University of North Carolina. I've taught for six years at CCHS. Traveling, books, and country music interest me as docs the Civitan Club. I like kids and I like to be around people. WAYNE DARROW I enjoy traveling, camping, photography and auto racing. I'm married to Marcia Keith and we live in East Cheat- ham. Modern History and American History are the sub- jects I teach, and I keep a Study Hall in my sixth year at CCHS. I taught previously at PV Elementary. I went to both Tennessee Tech and Austin Peay. Teaching gives me a sense of helping someone help themselves and hopefully directing high school students to a better way of life. The students at CCHS as a whole are better than other places I've visited.

This is my first year teaching and I teach Earth and Physical Science. My B.S. degree came from the University of Tenn. at Knoxville. I like all sports but particularly tennis and hunting. I like to be with people. Teaching here is a good situation. We have excellent facilities at CCHS which should be used properly. JACK NORRIS I teach Biology, Physical Science and Chemistry in my second year at CCHS. I attended Martin Jr. College in Pulaski and then went to M.T.S.U. where I received a B.S. My wife Robin and I live in Ashland City. I love to hunt and also enjoy flying. I believe the educational process is really the relations between people, not some- thing in a book. Teaching allows me to be a part of this and also improves my education. I like to work with people and especially youth. SCIENCE Before teaching here, I taught at Bethel Elementary and Ashland City Elementary. I've taught here for 11 years; Biology is the subject I teach. My husband and I and our four children live on Ed Harris Road. Sewing, swimming, and boating are some of my outside activi- ties. I think this has been a good year. My students seem to be going about their business very well. GRACE ALBRIGHT

DENNIS BARNES I have been the band and chorus director here for five years. Surprisingly, my major at M.T.S.U. was in music. My residence is on the banks fo the Cumberland River, and I have hobbies in photography and fishing. This student body has great potential that has not been fully realized, and teaching is an enjoyable experience involving helping enthusiastic young students. Some of these students fondly call me John.” This is my second year teaching in the resource room at CCHS. I attended Blue Mountain College and received a master's in education from Memphis State University. My home is on Stratton Blvd. in Ashland City. I don't ride horseback because I'm afraid of horses.
