CHCRUS The Chorus, under the direction of Marea Ransom, have put in a full year of hard work. They made a trip to Kentucky to sing for the Tri -State-Kiwanis Convention, presented Around the World in 80 Days, a Christmas program, a spring festival, participated in A11 -State Chorus and entered competition to be graded among the other choruses in Georgia. The members of the 6+5 and Men's Quartet are selected from the chorus. They sing at chorus presentations and other events. Chorus members put in lots of practice, but each will tell you that all trips, good times, and satisfaction of a job well done, make it worth it all! Club seeks to enable its members to study history and development oflour public schools. It attempts to se- cure information on teaching careers for the members. The F.T.A. tries to uphold the teaching profession in the eyes of the students who are not members . The Club sponsors a Valentine party each year for the faculty . We have taken part in F.T.A. tours of the University of Chatta- nooga. Our paper drives sponsor the activities of the club.
