Q w FBLA is the national youth organization for high school and college students enrolled in business subjects. FBLA is sponsored by the National Business Education Associa- tion, a Department of the National Education Associa- tion. FBLA is democratically organized and designed for all business students. Wanda Shaw, Editor, Carolyn Adams, Assistant Editor. 91 EAGLE STAFF The EAGLE, our school newspaper, is published by the Beta Club, although the school furnishes the supplies. The money goes into the Beta Treasury for various uses. The staff is composed of Beta members and a few underclassmen. The editor and assistant editor are elected, but the rest of the staff volunteer for their jobs . Our paper was started in 1930 under the name of C.V.H.S. ECHOES, but in 1950 the name was changed to the EAGLE.

There are no special qualifications needed to enter the Library Club, except that the student should be interested in library work. Library workers are trained to check books in and out, how to fix books to go on the shelves, and how to place them in the right position on the shelves. A girl who has been a library assistant in high school can get a job in a college library doing the same thing in order to pay her way through school.
