k 3 ..' .' . FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES What is the F.C .A.? It is a group of boys with the same ideas and aims. What is the purpose of the F.C .A.'? The purpose is to confront athletes and coaches with the importance of following Christ in life and on the playing field. What is its history? The F.C .A. is young. It was first thought of in 1954, by Mr. Branch Rickey Cfather of modern baseballj, who was just thinking what a great combination a Christian and an athlete would make. The first small club was established at this point, and since then, the F.C .A. has grown tremen- dously.
