The announcement of FACULTY MEETING AT 3:45 starts a hustle and bustle, the like of which is never seen any place but dear old Chattanooga High School. Excuses fly thick and fast, but they are to no avail. No student manager ever had such a group as this to con- tend with. When the meeting finally convenes, there is a question of this and that, a disagreement on such and such a point, and it looks as if they will never get any- where. But, finally, order is brought out of the chaos and when the smoke of battle has been blown away by friendly farewells, the meeting is reviewed and something was accomplished after all. The simple facts of high scholastic standards and achievement over almost three-quarters of a century stand out, but more than all these the genuine love of C. H. S. and the unity of purpose between the students and the facultv to make it an even better school show that they have always done a great job at . . . FACULTY MEETING AT 3:45.
