Dusty (Rusty Barker) and passed out into the waiting arms of Chestless Hagin (John Kaiser). Miss Ritty Kusselot (Teresa Lowery) runs up and DEMANDS an explanation of his night’s experiences. Then the local corset dealer (Jeanette Haberkorn) who was really up-tight, helps to revive the inebriated sheriff. Here is his story: “Yesterday 1 stepped in to visit the B. S. Pyle’s (Gary Kahle) ranch. Mrs. Pyle (Vinell Hughes) told me of the mishap to the Rorse (Debbie Lang) who had just been hustled by the local Rorse Hustler (John Sterrenberg). After a dry run chasing the hustler 1 stopped at the Dude Ranch. Mrs. Dude (Judy Galloway) told me of the fatal shooting of her husband Mr. Dude (Mike Haberkorn) by the fiend. Black Bart (Jerry Scher). So, 1 started my quest of Black Bart but, 1 got detoured at the local establishment of fine liquors, where I met my ol’ teammate. Sam the Bartender (Velda Snow). In the corner some guys I knew, John (Witzel) Ulitszch, Wayne Sneed, David (Freddy) Schlobowski, and Rick Perkins, had a real hot poker game going, but Rick, who works on the Pyle’s ranch received a phone call and had to go pick up the Pyles for dinner. The game broke up so I went up front to see what was going on. Into the souloon walked Zeke (Mark McKinley) and fair Emily (Stacy Schade), who announced that it was the RIGHT TIME. After that I talked to the town drunk (Dan Hubly) and listened to the famous fianer player Darwyn Wahls. Later we were entertained by the chorus line of Ann Blasingham, Marla Dassow, Barb Bailey, Nancy Hurt, and the shapely Raquel Belch (Jay Nussbaum). After that 1 came back.” Mike Manahan, THE Editor, races up and informs the sheriff that the Trembling Trio of Sue Kyburz, Kay Milstead, and Julie Rosendahl were coming to town. The sheriff replied “Really!! But 1 have a dentist appointment.” So, Datt proceeds to the dentist office where he converses with Doc Welby (Paul Burmeister) secretary Mortisha (Joyce Groskeutz). He then goes to get in the chair to have gastronomical surgery. He apparently stuck his foot in his mouth, knocked out a tooth, and swallowed it. All of a sudden the Trembling Trio burst into the room and the fight was on. Ta-da-Ta-Da-Ta-Ta-Ta-da-ta. Hooray!! The cavary comes with Gen Custard (Alece Schimd) in the lead on her horse, George (Candy Teegarden) the fastest in the West. Suddenly the noise stops and everyone looks to the South. It’s Killer Kay (Kay Kemmer) the curse of New Orleans. She grabs the lady in waiting (Angela Endres) and threatens to kill her if Datt doesn’t give himself up. While Datt stands crying the town Judo expert (Jane Pence) overcomes Killer, but in the fight and innocent bystander Pat Mills gets killed. The next day everyone attends her funeral which was conducted by Mr. Mortar (Neil Dassow). Right as he starts to close her casket she sits up and says-“lS THIS ANY WAY TO WRITE A PROPHECY?” THE UND 64 Senior Trip 65 66 67 Valedictorian Jerry Kurtenbach Honors Day National Honor Society “So that’s why we were chosen!' ‘Mike I never knew you had it in ya”.
