THE CHATHAM CHATTER J un1o1 Scraps As thxs IS the last number of the school year I have before me the task of summarlzmg the lm portant events whlch have occurred 1n the Junlor Class dur1ng 1930 to 1931 school term As I set out to do thls I find that I have a bad attack of oh what IS lt called? Yes that s It Sprmg Fever The easlest way out wlll be just to put down scraps here and there of the thlngs that have taken place 1n the school year Just passed Perhaps the most outstandmg event was the Junxor Party whlch came off successfully At least everyone seemed to have a good tlme Some of our boys have played on all the athletxc teams thxs year MlCha8I Dorchak IS golng to take Gordon Rltchle s vacant place next year that of captaln of the basketball team Members of the 22 class have also shone In the dramatlc field Allan Rleser and Janet Duff are our outstandmg actor and actress There are some boys such as Dol beer Spohr and Edward Carpenter who have helped greatly behind the scenes ln puttlng on the Dramatxc Club plays gxven thls year We all have classes IH the Freshman and Semor home rooms and when we enter them we usually find in one or the other the Honor Roll Cup smlllng dovsm at us from the shelf or desk But how ever we plan next year to keep lt almost all the time and not let the other classes carry away the laurels Before we leave for our summer vacatlon we want to WlSh you all an enjoyable vacatlon and when you come back next fall you w1ll hnd us 1n the Senlor Home Room 1 . 4 . . , . . . . v ' 1 . . , ' v 1 - ' . . , . . .
