Wdt and Jeitament We, the Senior Class of nineteen sixty-one, having reached the last step of our high school education, and knowing that we shall soon depart, do hereby publish to you our Last Will and Testament; ARTICLE I To the faculty we leave our appreciation for their interest in us throughout our school days with the hope that they will now be able to enjoy a much-needed rest and peace without us. ARTICLE II To next year ' s seniors, and underclassmen as well, we leave the following possessions which we have well used, hoping they will find much benefit in them during the coming years: I, MARY LOIS BRANSON, will my French book to my sister, Shirley. Leam those words, Sis! I, JOHNNY CLARK, will my parking place in front of the gym to my brother, Al. I, JANICE MOORE, will my position as editor of the BEAR FACTS to any junior who can meet the deadline. I, HOMER GAINES, will to my youngest brother, Eddie, my ability to get things done. I know George can ' t make the grade. I, LYNN CRISSMAN, will my dislike for Fords to all Chevrolet fans. I, DIFFEE SILER, will my basketball suit and shorthand book to Katherine Webster. Make good use of both, Kathy. I, ETHELENE CASTEVENS, will my seat in Miss Holleman ' s English Class to my sister, Virginia. It helps to be on front row! I, ALEX ROSE, will my ability to charm the girls (which I inherited from Jerry Wilson) to my brother, Glenn. Keep ' em guessing, Kid! They like it. I, FRANCES FIELDS, will my Beta pin to my sister, Kay, until (and if) she gets one. Study hard, Kay. I, ALMA MILLICAN, will my seat in second year typing to Linda Hart. Keep those fingers moving, ' ole girl. I, LYDIA SCOTT, will my place as pr e s i d e nt of the Beta Club to Garry Pegram. You ' ll soon know what it ' s like. I, HOWARD CAUDLE, will my position as Student Body President to all candidates of the future, with hope that the best man always wins.
