Row 2: Mrs. Phemn, Donald Shafer, Sylvia Kalb, Dwight Leutholdv Kaye Laipply, John Schneider, Karen Ryman, Margaret Phelan, Judy Tobin, Janet Green. Absent: Marcia May. We began our second year in school with twenty in our class. Daniel Zornes and Barbara Utz left us early in the year. We had two parties this year, one at Halloween, and another on Valentine's Day, which we enjoyed with the third grade. In our Christmas operetta some of us were toys and several were the Sandman's Helpers. All the rest were members of the chorus. i

Row 2: Gerald Leuthold, Danny Luidhardt, Wilma Schanzenbgzh, Rose Barnett, John Laux, Ronald Long, Wanda Vinson, Rober Marquart, Kathleen Keysor. Row 3: Mrs. Marjorie Phelan, Mrs. Maxine Feichtner. Absent: Harold Kirby, Paul Agee. ' There were eighteen pupils enrolled in the third grade last September. Douglas Eldson withdrew, and two new pupils, Wanda Vinson and Rose Barnett, entered. During the year we had three parties: Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine. We were enrolled in the American Junior Red Cross, and the March of Dimes. Everyone was glad to help give a Christmas Operetta this year. 28

' Row 2: Melvin Luidhardt, Junior Givens, Kenneth Brown, Diane Schultz, Dorthey Barnett, Faye Brown. Row 3: Mrs. Miriam Clady. Absent Earl Agee, Jimmy Bruce, Julia Auck. On September 4, 1951, nine boys and eight girls began their first year of school. During the year Junior Givens, Dorthey Barnett entered and Carol Bills, Ray Eidson, Betty Thompson, Beverly Thompson withdrew. We completed the year with fifteen in our class. The Halloween and Valentine parties gave everyone a chance to entertain. We were members of the American Junior Red Cross and contributed to the March of Dimes. Our first Reading Certificate was given to us after we had read the required number of Ohio Pupil Reading Circle Books. We took part in the Operetta Merry Christmas, Mr. Snowman . We were on the program for the P. T. A. 30
