' Fourth Grade Row 1: Roger Barnett, Ronnie Auck, June Tobin, Luella Laux, Janet Barnett, Raymond Mollencopf, Neil Feichtner, Virginia Loyer. Row 2: Mrs. Feichtner, Luther Kalb, Janet Marquart, Rose Zelliner, Bobby Keysor, Joan Kocher, Joyce Webb, Barbara Feichtner, David Luidhardt, Jule Ostermyer, William Kepler, Kenneth Leonhart. Absent: Maurine Wade. Last fall 18 pupils entered the fourth grade. Virginia Goeller withdrew during the first semester. Later tlu'ee new pupils entered so now our enrollment is 20 pupils. We were proud, to play our song flutes for the Crawford County Teachers when they held their meeting at Chatfield. We played Skater's Waltz , and Bugler's March . During the year we enjoyed Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine parties. Everyone helped make our operatta Merry Xmas Mr. Snowman a success. 27

Fifth Grade Row 1: Barbara Schiefer, Karen Ostermyer, Linda Auck, Bernard Wurm, Robert Lutz, Karen Kalb, Rita Volk. Row 2: Mrs. Van Horn, Marcella Auck, Connie Garret, Jerry Laipply, Larry Feichtner, Paul Zimmerman, Virgil Gottfried, Robert Schifer, Richard Redman. Row 3: Naomi Luidhardt, Joan Green, Joann Graves, Ruth Schanzenbach, Wanda Bevins, Ruth Loyer, Ernest Bushong, Bill Dickey. Absent: Shirley Harris. Last Fall twenty-four pupils were enrolled in the fifth grade. Wanda Bevins, Ernest Bushong, and Shirley Harris joined us this year. During the year we enjoyed Halloween and Valentine parties in the cafeteria. We also had a Christmas exchange. At Halloween time we took one complete blackboard to draw Ghost Town in color. For the P. T. A. program the class, with the aid of the sixth grade, put on a play, Young Abe Lincoln . We also did a choral reading on Old Glory . We took part in the Christmas Operetta and May Day exercises.. We've worked on several projects during the year, including sun dials, map drawings, and writing of poems. Almost everyone will receive the Ohio Pupil's Reading Circle Book seals, for reading the required number of books. During the year we enrolled in the American Junior Red Cross and contributed to the March of Dimes.

Row 2: Gerald Leuthold, Danny Luidhardt, Wilma Schanzenbgzh, Rose Barnett, John Laux, Ronald Long, Wanda Vinson, Rober Marquart, Kathleen Keysor. Row 3: Mrs. Marjorie Phelan, Mrs. Maxine Feichtner. Absent: Harold Kirby, Paul Agee. ' There were eighteen pupils enrolled in the third grade last September. Douglas Eldson withdrew, and two new pupils, Wanda Vinson and Rose Barnett, entered. During the year we had three parties: Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine. We were enrolled in the American Junior Red Cross, and the March of Dimes. Everyone was glad to help give a Christmas Operetta this year. 28
