HGIVIECOIVIING iii? King Darrell and Queen Carole The homecoming festivities were as exciting as ever this year. Carol Sullivan, our fairy godmother started our homecoming activities under way by crowning Queen Carole Ober and King Darrell Richter. Attendants were Delphine Bernard, a junior, and Sharon Hall, a sophomore, with Per Thuneby, our exchange student was Honorary Prince. Preceding the Coronation was a snake dance, the bonfire, and pep fest. The parade was held on the day of homecoming with all grades participating. The seventh grade won first prize, the seniors took second prize, and the juniors won third. ' Despite the fact that the Gophers were defeated by Harmony, the dance was held afterward and another homecoming had ended. 42

.Fi . STANDING: Miss Radsek, Director, D. Olson, T. Tuohy, D. Halvorson, W. Egge, T. Nagel. SEATED: J. Jefferies, C. Catlin, A. Goldsmith, B. Anderson, J. Thieke, A. McConnel. JUNIOR CLASS PLAY You can imagine a 16 year old boy being raised by three old maid aunts. This is the plot of the Junior Class Play on Saturday, November 7, at 8:00. To add to the confusion each aunt is positive that he will follow her ambition--pianist, lawyer, or architect, but Willoughby wants to be a geologist. Graduation is just around the corner including also the graduation dance. To help Willoughby out of his predicament his 'inner man' shows up. With 'inner Willy' and his three aunts finding him a girl to take to the dance this results in a very humorous situation. His aunts decided on a very plaingirl--Marybelle, while Willy decides on Carol--his dream girl. Also a set of twins come into the picture. Willoughby Adams, sixteen, a well-behaved likeable boy is played by Bill Egge, Aunt Olga, fAnn Goldsmith Q, Aunt Hester, fAnne McConnell J, Aunt Louise, fConnie Catlinj are Willoughby's maiden aunts who have given him a beautiful and sheltered life. Inner Willy played by David I-Ialvorson is Willoughby's 'inner self', visibly only to Willoughby. Stanley Clark, fMick Evans j, 16, is inclined to be a little tough, Mike fTom Tuohyj, is bashful, but a 'regular guy.' Marybelle Turner fBarbara Ander- sonj, is the girl next door, plain and completely unexciting. Trudy QMarie Winslowj, and Janet QJeanette Thiekej, are sixteen year old twins who do not necessarily look alike. Judy J efferis is the girl Wil- loughby secretly admires. D Director for 'Inner Willy' are Miss Radsek, Terry Nagel, Student Director, and Darold Olson, Ass't irector. I7
