HOMECO ING The Big Moment Bob Rose crowning King Dennis and Queen Carol Homecoming festivities were as exciting as ever this year. They got under way by our fairy god- mother, Judy Severson, crowning our Queen and King, Carol Ahern and Dennis Gunderson. The at- tendants were Phyllis Borgan, as junior attendant, and Jeannette Thieke as sophomore attendant. John Bras, our foreign exchange student from Greece, was honorary Prince. Following the coronation, the snake dance was led through town by the cheerleaders, after which the bonfire and pep talk were held. We held our parade the day of homecoming with all the grades partici- pating. The eighth grade float won first prize with the senior, junior, and sophomore floats tying for second. Despite the fact that the Gophers lost the game to Lewiston, the dance which was held afterwards in the gym was enjoyed by all and another successful homecoming had ended.
