STUDE TSEN TE The Student Senate is the representative group of the student body which makes and helps to carry out suggestions that will contribute to the betterment of the school. Members include a boy and girl from each senior-high class, one representative from each junior-high class, and one representative from each of the clubs or organizations of the school. The profits from the Magazine Drive this year will be used to obtain a Hi-Fi set and to aid in purchasing a wrestling mat for the school. In addition, 35100 will be con- tributed to the Student Foreign Exchange program. The Student Senate actively supported Homecoming festivities by participating on the Coronation, Pep Fest, and Parade committees, Other activities which the Student Senate sponsor include the Christmas and All School parties. This year's plans include further study and work on the Teenage Code of Behavior and a Code of Dress. The point system, also, will be reviewed. Officers for this year are: Marguerite Lucas, president, Donna Asleson, vice- presidentg and Mic Evans, secretary-treasurer. We of C.H.S. are proud of the job that our Student Senate is doing, and I am sure it will keep up the good job of representing us. SEATED: S. Meyers, L. Bernard, M. Evans, D. Asleson, M. Lucas, C.
