We enjoyed having you as our class advisor during our freshmen and sophomore yearsg it was during our junior year that we were given a new advisor. Although you were no longer our guido you were willing to help make our Junior Pnom the success that it was. We realize that through your untiring efforts, the Senior Play was our greatest achieve- ment during our high school years. You introduced to us the modern idea of presenting three one-act plays using little or no scenery. These were appreciatively received by the audience. Even though our high school days have come to a close, we shall remember you for your lasting loyalty and friendliness. The theme of our Annual places us at the mid point of a span of one hundred fifty years in length It implies further, that our position is one of transition Necessar11y there comes to mind a thought of the future how well are we planning? It would be ridiculous to Maynard G Pllllng contend that every eventuality will be foreseen It would be fully as absurd to sa that those who had planned before, had anticipated the problems of the past They did, however, furnish us guidance Too, they provided an educational program and, to the best of their ability, the facilities requlred to impl ment that program We can do no less Evidence of this determination is apparent in our new building and its curriculum The physical aspects of a sound program are assured There remains to be added Cand this is a continuing process! the interest and guidance that comes from a definite understanding, and a sympathetic attitude toward education th1s end, we are say1ng good bye to our graduatlng class while, at the same time, asking that they retaln a l1fe long 1nterest, and a s1ncere desire to help in providlng the best for boys and girls in our community svn, All' OUR PRINCIPAL - ' I ' 3 . .
