She ran with the boys Cross Country Team and did a fine job placing in most of the meets. In track season, she did a very outstanding job of breaking the school record for the 2 mile - 11:14, 1 mile - 5:16, and helped the 2 mile relay team break the record. Barb had a very good qualifying time at Wash High and it advanced her to the W.P.I.A.L. After she finished running there, she went to State at Shippensburg where she placed third in the 3200 meter, with a time of 11: We are proud to have Barb as one of our classmates and we would like to wish her all the LUCK in her running career and future plans at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
