To create, maintain and extend throughout the school, home, and community high standards of Christian Char- acter is the purpose of the Sr. Tri-Hi-Y. Membership in the club offers senior high school girls the opportunity to meet together in a social and governmental fashion. The main project of this year was to raise money, by candy sales, concessions at athletic events, and dances, to finish equipping the organ which was purchased by the club last year. Being a service club, the girls carried through the following projects: Door watchers and ticket takers for basketball and wrestling, collecting Christmas cards for missions in Korea and India, Easter baskets for children's ward in Canonsburg Hospital, needy family baskets for Thanksgiving, and Devotions over intercom for entire school, The members also held teen-talks with guest speak- ers, a birthday party for senior members, and an enter- tainment for their mothers and the women faculty members.
