14dminiA ra ion f f Unfinished Business As much as we would like to have all of our work behind us, we would feel totally lost and lonely if we had no unfinished business before us. Most of us are fully aware of this, but we dislike the continual daily pressures. WVc resent doing things when we don't feel like doing them. VVe would rather take our own time and proceed at our own pace. lf, however, that day of leisure ever comes when we have nothing we have to do, the chances are welll have very little to show for what we did do. if Loafing and relaxation take their hold on us just as working does, so at times when nothing has to be done, nothing is about what gets done. Deadlines are deadly, but they do accomplish their purpose. The pressure that accompany deadlines are in- dispensable. Both the Cod-made and man-made mechanics of the universe work under pressures. Man is no different. VVhen folks want to put over a project, school, church, or community, they look for the businest person available. Experi- ence has taught that busy people have learned how to get things done. These same people always have things ahead of them that they want to do. YVhen we reach the place when we have finished everything, we have either under-estimated our abilities or lost our interest in life. Letis alwavs have some unfinished business. M r. Bluebaugh Chutuis Township Seeretu1'V Facing Up to Responsibilities A majority of the young people graduating from our high school this year will take their place in the community. A small percentage will go on to other schools for more formal learning. How will those who are about to take their place in the community face up to their responsibilities? Responsibilities will be there. Any community is just as strong and sound as the people in it. Good government, good schools, and a proper sense of responsibility for social welfare of those in need will now be apart of your problem. You will be called upon to face obligations.
