Ten years have passed and it is now 1969 and space travel is very crowded, as most people live at Mars, So I decided to contact all my old classmates to see how their lives had changed. I rented a fashionable space dress from the popular Dior Dress Shop where the model, Ann Scott, told me it was one of fashion designer V. D. Roland's latest creations. From there I got on a space ship to go to Mars, The driver was none other than Speed Matlock, a well known flyer. He told me how he had just set a new record in his rocket by going around Mars at 7, 687, 900 miles per hour. On our way to Mars we saw Mary Jane Johnson going in orbit around the moon, Mary is the first woman to accomplish this great task. We landed in Spark's Space Station and talked to Bob Sparks, owner and chief-mechanic. From there I went to King Scott's Hotel. The hotel was one of many which George Scott had spread all around the world and outer space. Charlie White, head bellboy, carried my luggage to my room and we chatted with General Bill Cooper, who was on leave from the Air Force and had stopped over for a rest, As I was very hungry by this time I asked Charlie for a good place to eat and he recommended Dick's Pizza House. The chief-pizza-maker was Dick Mattix. While I was eating who should sit down by me but Helen Turner. She told me that she was a singer and had her own television show. Sharon Holden is a teacher of Driver's Training at West Point and is enjoying her work very much. Ralph Smith's Impala Incorporation is keeping her supplied with new convertibles each year. Marla Miller is a member of the famous panel Why I Like Spacemen, Marilynn Miller is Pat Boone's private secretary, Walter Vandenbark has a 40, O00 acre farm and is raising 5, 000 head of cattle each year, Rose Wyse is married and has her hands full raising 2 sets of twins and 2 sets of triplets. Ron Harrison is averaging 105 baskets a game on the All American Basketball Team, Paul Sanford is making millions with his peach orchards in Texas. After saying good-bye to Helen I decided it had been worth my time to check up on my old friends and started my trip back home since everyone was quite happy with what the future had brought Kay Gatlin - 94 . ax H J SENIOR YEAR Mrs. Higgens . . .
